Clarity • Focus • Presence
Used for centuries in Buddhist and meditative practice, Tingshas are played to mark the beginning or end of meditation, to clear energy, or to bring focus and awareness back to the present moment. In Feng Shui, Tingshas are sounded in the four corners of a room to open the space and clear its energy. The vibration that follows their tone carries through both mind and body, creating a sense of stillness, relaxation, and renewal.
Each pair is individually sand-cast from brass, producing a tone that is both clear and rich in harmonic depth. These Tingshas are engraved with the Tibetan Eight Auspicious Symbols, each representing a step along the path to enlightenment. The symbols are: the conch shell, endless knot, lotus flower, dharma wheel, treasure vase, pair of golden fish, parasol, and victory banner: symbolize wisdom, compassion, and the path toward spiritual awakening.
Their clear, bell-like resonance can purify a room, center the mind before ritual or rest, and serve as a gentle reminder of presence.
