Meet the artist behind our prints… Our wonderfully talented graphic designer, Maja! 🌻

Maja is a true creative genius. She paints, writes a book, makes her own clothes, crafts jewelry, and is an amazing mother to two daughters. She sings, plays more than five instruments, and creates stunning digital art. She loves to read and is one of the wisest people I have met. 

She’s also the artist behind the illustrations for our Ceremonial Cacao and Blue Lotus, artwork she has crafted with both heart and extraordinary skill 🙏🏽. Here are two questions to get to know her even better!

What role has ceremonial cacao played in your life?

In my life, cacao has been a warm, heart-opening friend. So many beautiful moments have been shared in solitude and in community, encircled by the spirit of cacao. My respect for this plant is huge, as I’ve experienced its ability to guide me toward a joyful heart. The way it supports my growth, through showing up, gathering with friends, expressing creative freedom, and opening myself to love.. Yes it’s profound. It holds a natural place in my life, gently guiding me toward the right moments, the right people, and the path of more joy and more freedom. ❤️

What has been the most rewarding thing about working with creating the prints of the Ceremonial Cacao and Blue Lotus?

The most rewarding part of this project was working so closely with my dearest friend. Bringing Annaclara’s vision to life and transforming it into a piece of art that represents Earth & Embers Cacao has been an honor. Throughout the creative process, I carried the authenticity of this project and the love poured into the cacao in my heart as the artwork came to life. To create something I truly stand behind, rooted in Annaclara’s heart and vision... feels like a gift!
